When the boss jumps, it will send a shockwave that hurts you if you don't avoid it. The spinning attack it has will knock you back if you're up close, while the spear that comes out from its back will attack three times before it changes tactics.

The boss will attack with a few attacks that you must dodge.

Once the power is off, you can begin attacking the boss and dealing damage. This takes a tiny bit to happen, so it may feel long before 9S shuts off the power. The beginning of this fight, you can't damage the boss until 9S disables the power in the area and shuts off the boss' shield. A large spider-like sphere machine will appear and start attacking you. After a little further ahead, you'll find one more access point before the boss of the area.Īfter riding an elevator upwards, you'll move along a path until you come across an impassable bridge that lifts up. Along the way you'll have to traverse more paths and assembly lines before reaching a room where a bunch of passive robots are located. After defeating it, continue onward through the factory. You'll have to defeat a larger machine that attacks you, which uses shockwaves every time it jumps and slams the ground. Take the elevator to the next area and destroy the group of enemies that appear when you get off. Fight them off and continue moving ahead through the factory. In the next area over you'll find another Access Point with enemies that appear to block your way. As you move forward, avoid any of the machines of the assembly line and destroy enemies that block your path. Eventually you will reach a room with an Access Point you can unlock before moving into another open area where you'll have to traverse an assembly line ahead of you. You'll have to keep moving forward while fighting enemies that appear. Keep moving ahead until you reach the wide area where you'll be ambushed by enemies. Follow the path ahead and start moving through the factory. You'll meet up with a machine being controlled by 9S, who will have a small dialogue with you. Use the elevator to leave the area and go into a different section of the factory. When this happens, you'll have to continue fighting machines until you are prompted to leave the area via the back elevator. When you finally enter the room, a cutscene will trigger before you have to fight all of the machines within the area. You can pick up some items and open a chest before continuing down the path into the next area. When you reach the bottom floor and exit the elevator, follow the path to the main altar where you see a bunch of torches leading the way.
